Terms and conditions of use

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the FinesseGate website, app or any related service, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the service.

2. Description of service

FinesseGate Services Limited ("FinesseGate", "we", "us") facilitates and coordinates cross-border transaction requests through partner institutions. We are not a bank, payment institution or authorised FX dealer unless stated otherwise. Where FinesseGate arranges or facilitates a transaction, it does so on behalf of the customer and the relevant partner institution(s). Transaction execution is ultimately performed by the partner institution.

3. Customer obligations

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, to submit genuine supporting documents, and to use the service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account.

4. Transaction process

All transaction requests are indicative until reviewed and approved by FinesseGate. Before execution, a final rate, fee and timeline will be confirmed with you. FinesseGate may decline or delay a transaction pending verification of information, documents or counterparty risk. Timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Fees and rates

Fees and rates are as displayed at the time of the quote and are subject to change based on market conditions, transaction size, partner pricing and other factors. FinesseGate will provide a written quote or confirmation before executing any transaction.

6. Limitation of liability

FinesseGate's liability is limited to its facilitation role. Liability for execution ultimately performed by a partner institution rests with that institution's own terms.

7. Dispute resolution

Please attempt informal resolution first via the Complaints process described in our Complaints page. These terms are governed by the laws of [NIGERIA / STATE — confirm with counsel].

8. Changes to terms

FinesseGate may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
